   I’ve noticed a discrepancy between the RSI(7) DWM that I get from Qcharts charts and those on your site and also those presented by David from Worden TC2007 which are posted on Bill Cara’s site.

   Would you be kind enough to share your RSI formulas with me so that I can compare them with what QCharts uses?

   First , I’d like to thank you for your comments. You are the first person who commented at my site

   I really don’t know why they are different, but I did use the formula on the
   Wikipedia RSI. Also compared with the values on the stockcharts.com and billcara.com. There is a good tutorial in the StockCharts.com, too.

   As I explained above, the daily RSI7 values do match with other websites most of the time. However, weekly RSI7 values are worse. They do not match with other websites and Monthly RSI7 values are disaster. They do not match most of the time.

   hi, and thanks for the info. i’ve been reading RSI info all over the web and there’s a simple question that none explain (probably because it’s too elementary, but one can’t be too thorough with these things): taking RSI 7 as the example, how do you move from daily to weekly to monthly? RSI 7 (daily) seems pretty straightforward: you’re using the last 7 days. with weekly are you using the closing prices for the last 7 weeks, and monthly the last 7 months?
